Buy a Yuasa, even that code is a Yuasa one. I only have praise for Yuasa battery.
Late 2016 i put a Yuasa 12n9-3b on my motorcycle, it died one month ago.

Now, with that aside, if you are heart set on a Lithium battery I would first make sure that your bike will be able to maintain the proper voltage range to properly charge and maintain said lithium batteries. Generally most lithium bike batteries require a minimum 13.2 to 13.4 volts, and no greater than around 14.2 to 14.4 volts. Too low or too high on those voltages will greatly shorten the life of the battery.

I can almost promise you that your bike won't meet one of those two ranges. When I put a Battery Tender lithium battery on my last Hawk I also upgraded the regulator-rectifier to a modern self regulating MOSFET unit and capped the regulating circuit (Black wire) from the harness in order to get a steady charge voltage.

Now, with that covered I would highly suggest sticking with a Bikemaster, Battery Tender, or Antigravity battery if you are wanting to go LiFePO4 battery. I have run all three brands on different bikes with great luck. I currently have an Antigravity in my VFR. 3 years, still strong.

but as amazon shipping is soooo slow (even with prime) currently I haven't gotten it yet and don't know how good it is or isn't.... it does mention in a review that

"cranks my RPS Hawk 250 effortlessly. I had to add some foam blocks to fill in the space in the battery box but I shaved a pound or so of off the bike with this battery. The bike came with an archaic wet cell battery which could easily leak. These AGM batteries are the ticket."

Given cost and that lithium batteries can require some maintenance I personally would not go with a Lithium.... but for some it may be the ticket.

no worries .... to be frank we mostly buy chinese bikes because they are cheap and cheap to mod.... so of course i would assume we all would be kinda frugal elsewhere too... i know i am. and the stock batteries are pretty mediocre .... another spot that can make a difference is changing that supe tiny ground cable... bought one at wally world for under 4 beans.in the auto section near all the ......... batteries ... i did have to drill out the correct err close enough sized hole for the battery post...too easy. the stock one is next to it for comparison

but you will like this mod.... it's pretty easy taking under 30 mins and CHEEEEAP! under $5 and it's readily available at wally world....
it's the best kind of mod.

had I done this mod before buying the battery I may have waited to buy the battery... I mean I still needed a better than stock battery because the are mediocre but the better ground made alot of difference...
Of course make sure your connections are clean (get out a brass brush or sandpaper or steel wool or whatever) and tight..... things are always better when they are clean and tight. :yay:

I put on some NCP2 (battery corrosion protector) also because it was there....

I'm in the Lakes Region of NH and to be honest our Amazon Prime is just as quick as before all this craziness. One more reason to live away from overpopulated areas.

I was looking at Lithium because I bought a $25 Amazon AGM “Pirate Battery Brand” and I jacked it up by overcharging, but even before it wasn’t reliable turning over the engine. I’m going to look in to beefier cables too, I’m sure those wimpy ones aren’t helping me either. I think I’ll try the AGM battery Ken Stogie recommenced.

My SSR has had everything from a $75 lithium down to $19 AGM Amazon batteries, and they all last just as long. I don't know about your specific make/model, but I don't think the charging cables are the issue on china bikes as much as the relatively weak charging systems they come with. I would imagine TT250 or RX3 owners replace fewer batteries than I do, because of the more robust stators they come with.

My recommendation is to find a cheap 4A battery on Amazon with good reviews and expect to replace it every 1-2 years.

The cheapst stator coil are made of Copper Clad Aluminum Enameled Wire :wtf:
