Last year dismantled the Hawk, before riding it so I could change all fluids add zerks, do some mods (airbox, sprockets, chain etc) unfortunately life over took me and I was unable to go to my mates house where the bike was due to not having a working area. I then spend almost 2 weeks in Hospital at Christmas and New Year, and my mend has been on a slow burn. Anyway fast forward to Yesterday (Friday) I collected the bike and lots of parts (!) And now face the daunting task of putting parts a-z back where they belong and in the correct order.

So dear friends of the forum, expect some stupid questions on ok this piece ( insert picture here) which way up does it go and where?

So onto rear swing arm.

Ok so first area of concern/question
How are the components of the back axle ordered aligned.
Can someone check my pictures and assure me I've got it right or chastise me if it wrong. My major concerns are the cable clips that run along the swing arm for the brake are they on correctly
Have I got the caliper and carrier correct
Is there a right way wrong way for the adjusters to be inserted in the swing arm?

Looks fine
the rear brake bracket is the spacer - the a spacer on sprocket side etc

Did you slip it together with the wheel n things line up look ok?

The brake line retainers/clips should be the other way around to ensure the line stays clear of the tire or debris the tire kicks up.

Otherwise, as ^he stated, the axle order looks fine. Aluminum spacer on the sprocket side, brake bracket/spacer on brake side.

There really isn't a wrong way to run the adjusters, but I run the flat side in just because that is how they come from the factory.

NZ, Thanks for that, I havent tried the wheel yet as I wanted to make sure I had the other components in the correct order. But I will give it a go possibly later today or tomorrow.

Dan, Thanks again. I didnt think the clips looked right but they didnt line up the other way up which would be the natural way thought as I am 98% positive I didnt remove them from the cable and to have the cable run along the outside would mean I have to remove and reverse the clips. Very strange!
