So we bought a Tao Tao from a neighbor. Two questions:
1. We don't know what it is? 110 or 125 or what . It has no clutch. What is the gearing? 4 down? Kinda hard to tell
2. It has no spark at all. Is that usually the CDI controller on these?
I don't know anything about the bike but I think it will be ok once we get it running. Thank you

Look on the carb side of the cylinder ,the size is typically cast between the fins ,although you can figure it out by the engine serial on the pad right near the shifter .Usually the auto clutch bikes are 3 or 4 up but who knows what you have .Not sure on your spark ,they are not hard to troubleshoot if you can work a meter and read ,search for a troubleshooting manual for your bike and go from there .

So down by the gear lever there was some numbers. Which I will post. What do they mean? When I google them the top numbers go back to a quad. Well, this is a bike not a quad.
Also, do you know how to start these? Do you have to hold in the brake and then kick it? There is no ignition switch. I feel like I am not doing something right which is why I'm not getting any spark. I've got the kill switch turned on(meaning that it is not turned on to kill the engine.)
Thanks,
Senna

I have no idea what craziness is required to start your bike ,look for wires on the clutch lever ,the kick stand ,does that bike have a remote start and alarm?that would probably be near the back of the bike ,You can look for a wiring diagram and unhook the ignition ground circuit to check for spark ,and with the diagram you can actually check it out properly instead of throwing parts at it .
I am pretty sure your bike is a 110 ,but it should be cast in the cylinder fins like I mentioned earlier .

Pretty sure your bike is a db14 if that helps ,try comparing specs if you wish to find out for certain .

Tao Tao DB14, looks just like ours. 110cc probably, gearing is 4 up, neutral is all the way down.
ETA - I would try to replace the spark plug (depending on how you checked for spark) and the ignition coil / spark plug wire first. Cheap stuff first then work up.
