Venom Motor Sports Just posted a picture of the new 2020 model Ghost Cruiser.
All I can say is wow. Might be changing my min about getting an X22R and get this instead.

Seems so. All the other pics look different than the red one....which is really sweet looking! Almost Sportster-ish.

Okay, I couldn't resist and had to email Venom. I stand corrected. The Red one will be the New 2020 model. :D Those who pre-order will get this model.

I wonder if that is a Venom-only bike or if Dongfang is going with a new style? Either way, it does look nice, but I will say the 'old' Ghost is a handsome bike in itself.

Be interesting to know if this is the engine they will start using in the other 250cc bikes. Would be nice to have a pre installed oil cooler on the X22R.

I was told it will be a Venom only bike as they will be the first to import it. That could change later on if other dealers try to import it.

I get the feeling that it will have the same engine as the X22R as the engine has EPA certification already. I agree these bikes should come with an oil cooler from the factory.

For the type of riding I do, this would be ideal. I will rarely go 70mph+, mostly 55 -60 for long drives. I hope my bike sells in the next few weeks.

Would you guys think i was crazy if i bought a third bike? :crazy: The more i look at this the more i want it. I know i'm addicted but need a bike for different styles of riding. That sounds logical in my head anyway. :lmao: I love my Hawk and X22R but just about got them both modded out and looking for another project for the winter. If it gets to cold it will give me something to tinker with. Best part is the better half likes it too because it has a sissy bar on the back so she won't fall off. :lmao: She said she doesn't feel safe on the back of the X22R and i drive too fast. :hehe: Speaking with Venom they will ship out this week or next from China and should arrive at there warehouse around the end of August. I've already put a list of mods together for it. I'm going to have to build another shed just for my bikes. Convince me i'm not crazy.

I see Venom posted some updated pictures. I'm a little disappointed the removed the rear rack but that's easy to add on. :) Also no oil cooler. Good news is it has the same engine as my X22R so i already know what mods i can do now. lol I also like that it has a center stand. Still A sweet looking bike. :tup:

I guess i better order one before they are all spoken for. lol I was looking in my shed over the weekend figuring out how to rearrange it so it will be easy to take each bike out with out having to move anything else out the way. I may have to add a door to the rear.

Just FYI.

I ordered one of these and it does still come with the rack and sissy bar, at least on the red one. I asked specifically and was told yes.

Depends on when or who you asked. The first batch coming in will be black only and doesn't have the rack or sissy bar. I hope i'm wrong and it does come with the rack and sissy bar. The updated pictures on there website is what's being sent. The one in red was a prototype of the bike and not what was actually being sent.
BTW It looks like they should be hitting the warehouse next week. :D

Well the Ghost has hit Venom's warehouse. Here's a few pictures that Venom Motorsports sent me. Was told it even has a USB port.

I am in the minority, but am not a fan of the Harley-clone look. I liked the old Ghost's styling (very original and sharp), BUT I see why they would redesign it to look like a Harley--to sell them!

I ain't a sportster fan at all and the fat boy is the only harley that I would care to own but because of price I might would consider one of these bikes for the street. I like my Recon but I still don't feel comfortable with it on pavement yet.
