Hey guys...I have new 2019 Hawk & my speedometer bounces wildly after 50 miles per hour... is this just the nature of the Beast ?

The stock speedometers are pretty much worthless. Not even close to being accurate. Member Tako (nzbrakelathe) sells a couple of versions of digital speedometer that can be calibrated for accuracy.

I have seen Tako's gauge assemblies that Jerry mentions above,.....very nice, very customizable,....can be calibrated to 100% accuracy....tripmeter, clock, tach...etc.

I have one as well, after set up I checked with my GPS and it was within 1mph.

Okay I feel like an idiot....how do I get in contact with TAKO ? I don't really play around too much on forums.

But be aware, Tako is in China and he has had some issues with shipping due to all the crap going on. Contact him first and he will let you know what the delays are looking like.

Good to know! I had tried to look it up and only kept seeing the hawkclusters@gmail.com reference... I presumed them to be one and the same.
