Hi all, I have a 2020 Hellcat and the only mod I have done so far performance wise is Mikuni VM22 carb along with aesthetics. When I have the bike pinned in 4th gear there is a strange vibration coming form the front, if I let off the throttle it seems to go away and if I give it a small amount of throttle again it seems to come back. Has anyone else encountered this issue before? Another bit of info is that my bike was shipped without the middle nut for the triple tree so I'm waiting for that to come in. Not sure what is causing the vibration though.

i'd guess its the headlight fairing buzzing ,these engines arent counterbalanced and the plastics dont have rubber washers between them and the mounting points so they tend to get "buzzy" when you really run up the RPM's.

Some foam tape or rubber washers will help fix that , of course it might be something else but since it goes away if you back off the gas even though you are still basically going the same speed, its likely being induced by engine vibration .

I'd get it up straight and have a real good look to make sure the alignment is good. If it's off enough to worry about you should be able to tell but the bike has to be upright. Then make sure every single bolt is tight.

I Wouldn't even be riding a bike that didn't have the main center nut for the top triple clamp on. That doesn't just help hold the triple clamp on, but it also helps apply pressure to the nut under the top triple that holds tension on the steering stem bearings.

I work at an auto parts store and tried to find anything that I could throw on fora quick fix until the part comes in but its a strange thread pitch. But you're right and I wonder if the vibration at higher speeds is caused by the nut not being on.
