Hi,

I may have buttons for eyes as I couldn't find the right place to post this. Please forgive me.

My hawk 250 was working awesome until i took it offroad one day and due to a hard bump my speedometer and odometer stopped working while the fuel gauge and gear indicator are working fine. During another rough ride, i noticed a bump knocked it back in and it started to work again but then after afew rides same thing again.

I tested the wiring via ohm meter and its not the wiring. Took the wheel off and it seems like the plastic notch that holds the speedometer in place just fine.

What do i do ? how do I get a working speedometer and odometer again?

Thank you in advance :)

Trace the sensor wire back to the connector and make sure it didn't unplug its self. I'll move this to the Dual Sport Section.

Yellow to green/ground should be 5v
Red to green/ground should be 5v stopped and reduce somewhat with wheel spinning ( Actually a Hall effect sensor should show a square wave on oscilloscope - volts just kinda show it is functioning.)

I am new here. I just bought a Hawk DLX and put it together. My question is what is the red wire coming out of the digital speedometr? I see no other red to connect it to.
