Sunray or Shineray? Either way it's all about the same. AND is it a 2005 model as noted in the pics? You may want to ask.

That's the same bike as a Roketa DB07 / Hi Bird / whatever. Go for it. It's a nice bike, and well tested. That design has been around for 5 years. Price is great, especially for a Spring purchase. Talk to the seller and get one with the smaller 46 tooth rear sprocket, like the red one, instead of the 56 like on the yellow and green one, if you plan to do any on-road riding. Go for it!!!

I got one from him late last year. The VIN came out to be a 2007 on mine. Pretty fast shipping. Had to wait about three weeks to get the bill of sale and MSO (he lives in Nevada, but the bikes come out of So. Cal). However, this was over the holidays too. When I did get the MSO it was blank except for stamp with the dealer's name and address - Globe Inc, Henderson, NV - and a couple of generic scribbles for signatures (e.g. somebody, and I'm not saying it was me, had to type in the VIN and vehicle description).
I don't know how he'd be with warranty issues. I went through most of his ebay feedback and a couple of people said they were able to get parts they needed from him.
Good bike. No problems out of the box. It is a Shineray. Pretty standard issue GY2. Conventional front forks, rear drum brake and the shock is connected directly to the swing arm (no linkage). I haven't put many miles on it yet. I was able to get it insured through Geico. They didn't have Shineray in the system, but I told them it was just like an American Lifan, which they did have listed.
There are a couple of online dealers that sell GY2s for about the same price. These guys - http://www.atvsimports.com/dirt-bike-200cc-enduro.html - have them with the upside down forks, rear disk and a tach (which is the only feature I miss). So there's yet another option to chew on.
Thanks!
I bought a black one off the link you sent. Inverted shocks/Disk & Disk/ matching color aluminum rims.
And a free helmet. With a handling/credit card charge of 3% - 925.97 delivered.
I need a good source for sprockets and jets……..
I will post pictures as I put it together.
Thanks again……

Personally, I would have gone for the Shineray on Ebay (like 'Rich_e's", but congrats on your purchase.
Read all of the threads on Viva before ordering. Some good + some bad.
I will start a new thread on Viva & ATVSImports when I get the bike documenting any issues or attaboys.
Great site, never would have considered this without the forum and the people that contribute content.
