View Full Version : tomorrow is the big day
Tomorrow I take the driving part of the motorcycle license exam. Any last minute tips would be appreciated, especially if you are from Ohio and are familiar with their motorcycle exam.

Tip 1 take a trailer... They gave me a ticket for riding it up there.
Tip 2 Look both ways 2 times... They may not see you do it once
Tip 3 NO wheelies.... I didnt do this but considered it
Tip 4 Take a trailer... That ticket was $464
Good Luck

1. When you first get on the bike, make sure the instructor is standing near enough to see everything you do.
2. Pull in the clutch, start bike, snick it into first gear.
3. Look the instructor dead in the eye, SNEER while grabbing a handful of throttle and dumping the clutch.
This works best if the end result is either, A) you do a wonderful wheelie before falling off the bike. -or- B) The bike instantly leaps from beneath you and careens into a parked car, but you remain standing as if you meant to do it.
Oh, and don't worry about turn signals, right of ways, yielding or any of that crap. It's all for pansies and communists anyway. A real man will use any available surface to display his riding prowess. At redlights it's best if you just hop onto the sidewalk and go around everyone. Taking corners at high speed, tucking it in flat-track style, will always earn you points on the riding portion of the exam too.
Good luck, and may the force be with you young Jedi!
I have a temp permit that will legally allow me to ride to the testing center.
I will make sure to accelerate at maximum speed and skid to every stop.
I'll probably show up drunk on cheap vodka and having just sharted.
i want to make a good impression.

And make it clear if you get points added or subtracted for hitting cones!
And ask if there will be freestyle jumps as part of the course.
