Nice job on the Video ! I was sort of on the fence about this bike going by the initial photos of it ., but seeing its size and " in person" in the video, i find myself really liking it, thats a pretty sharp motorcycle.
Also, i was pretty surprised it came assembled that far, primarily that meaning the front wheel assembly was done, most all the Grom clones you have to put the front wheel, speed sensor assy and fender on your self and getting that front wheel on by yourself can be a real bear of a job involving many 4 four letter words.
i look forward to a ride review video, hope you plan to make one !

It really is a super nice bike and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. Seat height is about the same as a Grom, but it doesn't feel like a kiddie bike (like the TNT 135 we had). It feels like a real motorcycle. Not that I didn't like the TNT, We did, but the wife rode the X-Pect, and the TNT was doomed.
Oh, the headlight assembly was many four letter words as well.... But I finally got it.
I'm quite impressed with it. Not so much with the XPect. Not that it's not a nice bike, but really, slap some knobbies or dual sports on this thing and you're all set. It's ground clearance is only about 3" less than the X-Pect. And it'll do 60 pretty easy in 5th and I've only got 11 miles on it!!!!
The X-Pect struggles to do 60 so far and it's got about 30 miles on it.
For the money, you simply can't go wrong. But it needs a better exhaust (sounds identical to the X-Pect, so I'm waiting to hear from Lifan if the KPR exhaust will fit). And it's air cooled (with a fan too) and rides and handles great so far.

I'm no tire guru and have a question. The stock tires are 130/70-17 rear, 100/80-17 front.
I'm looking at some Shinko 705's and the closest sizes are 120/90-17 and a 130/80-17.
I'm thinking the 120 for the rear and 130 for the front. But will they be too different? The rear wouldn't be as tall, but wider and the front would be a bit taller (maybe too tall). Or use the 120 for both front and rear?

Great video. I bought the same bike 3 weeks ago. Had all the same issues you had all the way down to the missing mirror bolts. What was the code for the bolts you bought? I need to pick some up. Great job, can't wait to hear about the exhaust question.

Don't get a 130 front. The first number is the width of the tire in mm, the second is called the aspect ratio, which means the height of the tire in percentage of width, so for example, a 130/80 tire would be 104mm taller than the rim, while a 100/80 would be 80. If you could find a 110/70 for the front, that would be all right, too.
The 120/90 in the rear should be a bit taller, which might lower the RPM, but honestly, I'd try to find as close as possible.

The bolts are in the video, they are M8-1.25 x 40. Their about .80 at Lowes.
Lifan says the KPR exhaust should fit but might not be exact.
I may just cut off the end before it curves up, get a slip on and make a bracket to run it straight back and attach to the original mount point. Easy to cut if off, but if I don't like it, might not be too easy to put back on...

I don't see why the KPR200 exhaust wouldn't work. Almost exactly the same shape, and the aftermarket system only has 2 mount points - the header flange and the muffler hanger, which can be positioned anywhere on said muffler. Heck, even looking at the two bikes rear muffler mount location, they are very similar if not exact.

That's what I was thinking too. And watching a YouTube video on it, it supposedly has a removable baffle if you want it even louder..

Did you ever hear back on the exhaust? I have a KPM as well and want to swap out the stock exhaust. I’m thinking of just getting a slip on and taking it to an exhaust shop.

They said a while ago it "should" fit and looking at pics of the KPR, which has the same engine (the KPM is an updated version) I don't see why it wouldn't.
It's a bit pricey, but it's also stainless steel and each section is flared leading back to the muffler.

Yeah I hear ya. The price is the only reason I haven’t bought one yet

Oincman, did you ever swap the tires for dual sport tires? If so, I'd love to know what you went with, how you like them, and if they made a difference on holding higher speeds. I have a ton of dirt roads where I live, but also a 65mph road to get to them. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Good to know. I'm thinking of trying the Shinko 244 in a 17x4.6 and running a 17x3.0 up front. I'd rather a tire more like their 704/705, but if it's a little more dirt worthy, I'll take it. I'm still breaking my KPM in so it'll be a while before I make the swap, but I'll post back here once I know if it works or not.

Stock front 100/80/17 ~91 mm, stock rear 130/70/17 ~ 80mm . Difference of height of 1.1 cm. But for your sizing, it might help to look at tires sized in inches (many smaller dualsport/dirt tires). Convert the first number (width) from mm to inches In your case 100/80/17 = ~4.33x17 and 130/70/17 = ~5.12x17.
This tire (front and rear use) is available in 4.6", and 5.1" and DOT (road legal) Shinko 244

That's probably as close as you will get to stock dimensions and they are cheap tires too.

I have seen several videos of the KPM with the kpr's exhaust on it. It looks and sounds very nice with that setup.
