I thought my meter read in miles...

It doesn't.... it reads in KM

So instead of 267 miles I have 167 miles...

Duh!

take a deep breath. . .
multiply odometer by .62
make mental note of the answer
exhale. . .

repeat as necessary

These machines have MPG figures to die for. 140, 170 or over 200 miles per (imperial) gallon is not unheard of.

I just figured this one out when i filled up, 1 gallon=100 miles!!! After the math it is around 60mpg.
