Hi guys - are there any current bikes (street / enduro-type) that are powered by the CG250 clone push rod engine? Or are most of the current 250's powered by the 223cc OHC CRF230 clone? Sounds strange but we need the engine to be push rod for our project. If someone can point us to some cool bikes with the push-rod 250 it would be appreciated! Thanks!

Most of the street / enduro-type are CG250 powered. Only a few have the 223cc OHC CRF230 clone. Hawk, Brozz, CSC TT250, TBR7 are all CG250.

Cool thanks - are there any straight street bike style that are CG250 powered, or just the enduro type as you listed?

Yes, There's the CSC SG250 CAFE RACER. https://cscmotorcycles.com/cafe-racer/
Bashan MotoMax 250 But out of stock right now. https://brozz250.com/Motorcycles-Bashan-MotoMax-250-2020-Norcross-GA-febe1978-d012-48ce-9c4b-aad901273dd1
Bashan Extreme 250 -47 Also out of stock. https://www.shopapmc.com/New-Bashan-Extreme-250-47-Motorcycle--Inverted-Shocks-Counter-Balanced-Engine-FREE-SHIPPING-QUOTE-BELOW_p_66.html
Most street bikes will come with the OHC. The OHC will turn higher RPM's which in turn give you higher speeds. The CG250 is not a high rev engine and make most of its power on the low end. They have a little more low end grunt which is perfect for off road. The CRF230F clone has way more performance mods than the CG.

Thanks - the cafe racer is pretty cool! The Bashan Extreme may work.

We were hoping to find something like the X22R (that "superbike" style) but with the CG250 engine. I understand OHC is the way to go for performance, but what we are planning on doing with it requires a push rod engine.

What you plan on doing?

Breaking Cleveland Cycle Werks' record? I'd get behind that. Does it have to be a production model, or could you swap the motor into the X22R? It'll bolt right in, no problem.

That's what i'm thinking. The X22R is a light bike and would be a direct swap.
