i bought 2 of these and put one together and when i hooked up battery it blew the fuse on the red wire if i unplug rectifier it wont blow i took rectifier off other bike still blows any sugestions

Sounds like your grounding out some where?Did you check you power wire real good for insulation thats exposed?
