Was wondering what the effects of 100+ degree heat might have on these air cooled 250's here in the high desert region of utah.????

None. We have plenty of days over 100 in SC. Just make sure to run the higer octane if you notice knocking in the hotter months. There's not much else you can do until you get air flow again to cool the engine. Maybe an oil cooler, but you still need to be moving to gain real benefit. I've always run 87 with no problem, but I don't have a lot of stop and go traffic.

I run alot of days over 100. If you have those fake louvers on the front take them off. It should allow more air flow. I removed most of the plastic from my bike. All the tank pieces rattled anyway.

I never had enough experience in the Sonoran Desert around Yuma to find out :cry: as the bike was always breaking down for one reason or another! I don't think the heat had any effect on mine, however.
