Zs250gs engine tuning

Hello guys. This is my beast , an old 2006 Zongshen ZS250GS converted to Cafè Racer. Engine is ZS172FMM. I want to give the engine some bit of power, because now is a slug.

Can you give me an advice please?

What carburetor can I use? PWK 34?

How much can I raise the compression with pump fuel?

What kind of CDI and ingnition parts can i use to improve performance?

Is there any performance camshaft that I can use into my ZS172FMM engine?

Welcome aboard! Biggest carb i would go with is a PWK30 if you are porting the head. I'm bumped my X22R up to 11:1 on pump gas and the PWK30 was perfect. I've gotten good results with advancing the timing with a 4 degree offset woodruff key. I'm not very familiar with the ZS172FMM so not sure what cams will work with your engine.
