I've seen the pictures where some members remove the emissions elements from their bikes, and I've been wondering if there is some logic (unknown to me) as to which bikes have emissions and which do not.
It is my understanding that some of the various dealers have bikes built to their own specs...so following this line of thought, I might assume the dealers in California are more likely to have bikes built with emissions in order to sell locally. Is this correct, or even close?
For example, the Viva bikes are for Viva in Cali, and therefore include emissions (true from what I've seen, no?). My bike was for MotoXtreme in Va and did not include emissions.
Does anyone know for sure?
Or is it really obvious to everyone else? 8O
I ask in part because I'm shopping for a cruiser and I do not want or need emissions controls.
