valves

Well, I am just about to roll over 3000 kilometers. The bike is just now wanting the valves adjusted again. At first it was required about every 500 kilometers but this time I notice I've gone over 1200.

Would it be okay to use threadlocker on those valve adjusters?

NO NO NO NO !!!!

Cause when you need to adjust them again, would have to replace the rocker arms.

First just use the feeler gauge to see if they need to be adjusted.

No threadlocker! (if you did use it, acetone will dissolve it)

Just snug the nuts up well and all will be good.

edit: i did not use it. I was worried that it might flake off and get into some oil passageway or something.

I adjusted the valves about 4500 miles ago. Might need to check those again. :wink:

Yours are a simple remove the cap and measure so just check them.
