I installed this PZ27 pumper carb on my 2021 DB17. (Pumper means it has an accelerator pump.)

It fits tight, but it fits, with a little bending of the accelerator pump cable bracket. The only real problem was it needs a split throttle cable, and I couldn't find one short enough. I ended up shortening this one:

This throttle cable is cheap, but I don't recommend it. The clear PVC sheath is softer than the old black stuff, and shortening a throttle cable is a pain.
A smaller problem was this carb comes with a spring-loaded choke (it's made for a cable choke.) I could probably remove the spring, but it turned out not to be a problem, at least in summer, because the accelerator pump can richen the mix for cold start, so I don't need to choke. Just twist the throttle as I kick, then rev it for half a minute until it warms up.
The carb came with a 38 pilot, which is WAY too rich for a DB17. It burbled at high throttle, and wouldn't hot start after a stall. (Massive frustration learning this.) I replaced the pilot jet with a 32 from this set:

then adjusted the mix screw and it works great. Excellent throttle response, easy starts, and satisfying top-end power.
