I have a 2005 roketa 150.Dreaded no spark issue,6 pin dc cdi .At first as the problem began it would run a while then die could get running by turning ignition off and on several times. So i performed all the tests I could find set pickup gap to .010 this increased ac output from pickup coil from .1v to .3v ac no help.
Pickup resistance is 128 ohms.verified 12volts at cdi, checked grounds for continuity-good.Checked coil reads 2.3 ohms, also checked coil continuity using wire from cdi to coil + to ground same reading as checking coil alone.
So I figure has to be cdi issue ordered casoli gold 6 pion dc cdi put it on still no spark.Went thru all tests again everything looks good but no spark.
I even built a harness for the ignition completely independent of machines wiring no change. I would be pulling my hair out if not already bald. Please help.

Glad you got it fixed. It seems after market cdi's are hit or miss.

I put on a 4 pin dc box simple quick and cheap.Harness coil and box for 20 bucks.

I'm dealing with a bad voltage regulator/rectifier that has cooked my battery.I'm hearing their a hit and miss too.So I went ahead and ordered 2 to check against each other plus another battery.

Agree on this. The second one I ordered was the one that worked.
