Hi everyone, I have a Venom X22 125cc. I believe the rear brake is stuck. I can ride it a mile or 2 and it starts getting really hot. It won’t roll in neutral after this. If I wait hours it’s fine again. I took the caliper off and when you push one piston in the other pushes up. Not sure where to start, it only has 17 miles on it, any advice is appreciated!

That should be a single piston rear brake. Can you try and post a picture? Also, bleed your brakes. You probably have air in line.

Sounds to me like the rear brake needs adjusted at the brake lever.

You will need to adjust the linkage at the brake piston. It doesn't have enough free play to release pressure when released. The brake pad will drag and heat up then expand. I had this happen on my hawk when I first got it.
