Hi everyone,

Back again with yet another issue. Everything is working as best as it can, however my son and I noticed some excessive rattling as he slowed down. (He rides up and down the street so it's very noisy)

I looked under the frame to try and find the source and noticed the weld on the muffler housing was broken. wiggling the muffler a bit also indicated that the pipe connecting to the muffler looked to be coming off as well.

Does anyone know where I can get a new muffler? It looks like I have to replace the entire set, muffler, pipe etc.

I have no mechanical background and just learned to chage oil, so speak layman terms please. Do I have to change the gasket also on the motor as a friend told me? :?:

You may be able to have someone weld that bracket back on. It is a good idea to replace the gasket between the engine and exhaust pipe.

I am not sure on replacements, but Bruce would know.
