So as the title states I have a cranking issue on my coolster 125. I have changed the starter, solenoid, battery.

Motor turns freely.

Stopped cranking one day and fried the wire from the battery to the wiring harness. I traced the wire back and replaced it. Now it just clicks the solenoid but wont crank. That is when I started repalacing items mentioned above. I am at a loss.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you charge the battery? Make sure the battery is putting out enough voltage under load.

Yeah brand new battery. Even jumped it from my truck.

Don't discount the fact that the new starter could be bad. I went through a couple before I found a good one. Below is my first new starter after a dozen starts. It was not properly wound or potted.

check for a good ground from motor to battery...jump the starter termial from battery yo starter post...this is direct voltage...nothing in between...see what that does..put a good ground wire to battery mount...good size wire to handle load,...if it is good then..report..
