I got this yesterday from American Lifan. This is there next bike coming to the US. I don't speak a word of Chinese so don't ask me what these guys is saying. lol The engine is a 304cc V-twin with 4 valve per cylinder. puts out about 32 HP .
Definitely has some nice features.

Beautiful looking bike, it does look like a baby Goldwing. Lots of goodies and even a power windscreen, pretty impressive. 300cc is kind of a small engine but who knows with that 4 valve head it may move pretty good. Time will tell I guess.

Top speed claims 90-95 mph. Good enough for a commuter and light highway rides.

That is interesting. 500cc would have been a better choice, in my opinion, but it is pretty cool.

They do have a 600cc v-Twin that will be coming but will be about 2 years before the US will see them.

This bike has a nice appearance and looks like it's meant for the city, as are all the China bikes. This is a show piece and I can see why they made it 300cc. Really don't need much in the city

The bike is more than capable for highway use. It weighs 491lbs which is very close to the same as my Vulcan S @ 500lbs so won't get blown around easily. I've taken the Vulcan on long rides on the interstate. Top speed are 90-95 mph so cruising 70-75 mph shouldn't be an issue. HP wise it has 32HP which is more than the Honda Rebel 300@25HP. I think it will be a good commuter bike that will be fine for mixed city and highway.

Most China's bikes can be used on highways or anywhere you want and they can take the abuse.

32hp is more than enough for long travel. Of course don't expect to be the fastest kid around because that won't be the case.

If Lifan is serious about selling motorcycles in the US, what they need to do is to end the debate for once.

Hire a rider, make him rider from Miami to Los Angeles.

I'm not saying it's not capable I'm saying that with a 300 it's better suited for urban jaunt and less long highway rides. That Vulcan s is a 650? This is a 300, not the same

I think you missed the comparison. I'm comparing weight and speed capability. Will the 300 do 120+ mph? No. Can the 300 maintain 70-75 mph for long periods? Yes. The 310V has enough weight that it won't get blown around which is close to my Vulcan. The Rebel 300 only weighs 364lbs which I think would be on light side for the interstate.

I would have no problem riding and being comfortable riding long periods on the interstate with the 310V.

Tell Miss Itchy Boots that her 300cc bike was too small to take around the world. :hehe:

I see your point about weight.

I still don't think the 310v will be used much on the highway for long rides. But that's just speculation

Again, no, I am not saying that a 300 cannot. I'm saying most people will not because they will be feeling wanting more. She went round the world on a 300, people have gone around the world on less. Not saying can't.

Let's see though because I like how this bike looks

I’m curious to se what venom will sell these for. With the lycan being 4300 I feel like this would be at at least 5300. Also patiently waiting on the us to get the kpt400. On the Facebook they said late 2023 but we will see.

I'm doing Wilmington NC to San Diego in April. I'm glad to volunteer!
