i assume that the screw could advance or retard ignition but..
how much? and clockwise to retad and anticlock to advance??
the cdi is the typical pourple one on alixpress

I have that cdi. The pot doesn't advance or retard the timing per se. It changes where in the rpm range the timing advance peaks. This allows you to adjust it to determine where the added torque really.comes alive, while maintaining easier starts.

so : considering the two extremes full anticlockwise and full clockwise, differences?
you say “it’s where the rpm advance peaks” so anti clock is at low rpm and full clockwise is at top-hi revs ?
