300cc Quad, Coil Questions

Quad: 2007 Kymco MXU300
Issues: No spark
Notes:
Very warm coil when on but not running.
Pictures of coil attached.

Questions:
What's the ohm value for a known good coil?
Is the coil supposed to be hot when ignition is on but not running?

Primary Coil 0.2-0.8 ohm
Secondary Coil 3-5k ohm

It tested out of spec, not by much (2.8 ohm), but I'll order one anyway.
