Is there an online "thrift shop" for gear? Like, a place where others are selling their un-wanted jackets, gloves ETC

Facebook market place is a good place to look. I'm always seeing motorcycle gear popping up.

We had motorycle closeouts brick and mortar up North in Kansas City a long time ago. Got some sweet deals there. They closed up the shop but maintain their web presence (motorcyclecloseouts dot com).

Goodwill has an online sales program, too. I wouldn’t buy a helmet used, but they certainly do have a wide range of gear. Here’s the link right into the motorcycle section:

I've picked up a nice used jackets from shopgoodwill. Watch out for their shipping charges though. Sometimes they are rather high. You can easily check what the shipping will be beforehand though, be sure to. Scored a good pair of Alpinestar boots from eBay.

Well hey! Christina-Rae! Good to see you here from the RE forum.
I've scoured our local thrift stores and the most I find are old motorcycle T-shirts, usually HD stuff.
That's a great idea though. We have a closet full of old biker stuff that, A) I'll NEVER fit in again, and B) collects dust.

It's not a thrift shop; however, the prices are really cheap. I have 3 of their jackets and a pair of pants. They all show preowned, but mine came in the plastic, unworn. Make sure you read the add well; I bought a mesh jacket by mistake.
