I have almost finished this seat mod and I have to say it’s really cool, but…can any of y’all tell me why he puts a pin/washer/rubber washer in hole 5? I understand the washers at the bottom, then the spring, then topping it off with the pin at hole 6, but I can’t see a reason for the one above the spring assembly. Thanks!

Any guesses would be appreciated as I’m waiting to button up my bike but am hesitant because I may be missing something…

He might be just using it as a spacer for adjustment. :shrug:

I’m not going to put the pin in the 5th hole and will report back if I discover the purpose.
