Hey everyone, I just put my new bike together and took it for a quick ride. I found the neutral light bulb burnt out from factory. No biggie I'll grab a bulb tomorrow. My main issue is that the gear indicator shows 4 in 3 rd and in 4th gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

The pins in the connection plug down close the the battery are mixed up between the ones for 4th, and 5th, and you will probably also find that the one for neutral, is either unhooked, or possibly hooked in the wrong spot. I don't know the colors for each gear, but someone may. I would let the seller know about it too.

I'll check that out tonight. but why would two 4 show up if 5th is working normal? The N light got fixed with a new bulb. I did message the seller with no answer back yet. Thanks

Here's the pin out on the cluster.
Is there a way to test power or signal from the sensor to check every gear?

Update: all the wire colors are pinned the same. I switched gear indicator switch and still doing the same thing so that's eliminated. I tested both switches with test light and both will not show 3rd gear. So must be the lcd screen in the cluster or the cluster itself or whatever chip or whatever runs that.
