Seems odd to me, but if i try to restart my engine in 3rd or 4th by popping the clutch, the clutch slips rather than turning the engine. The rear wheel keeps turning and i hear the clutch moan.

On other bikes i've owned, the rear wheel would always skid for a second and the engine would start to spin.

I this normal for a Chinese bike? I hear about the weak clutches. :(

Yeah, probably the weak clutch springs slipping. Mine pop starts in 2nd with a little seat bounce.

Noticed, too that she'll only allow me to kickstart when the throttle is open a little. If it's closed i've gotto stand on it!!! :x

Guess that's cause of there's no compression release.

The electric start is champion though!! :)

Ken,

Limited slip clutch... Hmm, that's one way to add longevity to a tranny.

Hmm mine will do a rolling start, I did one a few weeks ago in the woods when I stopped myself from rolling over a chipmunk.
(I think they sit on the trails like that just for fun)

Hit the brakes so fast it locked up and stalled but I grabbed the clutch and stayed rolling and just dropped it into second and popped the clutch and away I went.
