I didn’t much care for the stock position of the instrument cluster. I wanted something more rally-style so you don’t have to look down so much. The solution I found is the NiceCNC GPS mount. It also comes with a small windshield that is repositionable. I used a cell phone mount designed for a BMW, a USB port with a voltage meter, and a couple of 12mm LED switches for driving lights. The driving lights are wired in with the headlight. One switch controls the yellow fog light and the other normal white driving lights. The USB power is wired into the unused plug under the gas tank on the left side. I opted for the cell but may upgrade to motorcycle GPS later.

I like it. How's it look from side-on?
I've been annoyed with the dash location on my X as well. Waaaaaay below my sight line when standing and still below it when sitting. Wind up leaving my turn signal on too much!

Very nice, but a little pricey for a China-made unit. I guess with the included windscreen it's not too bad of a value. Is it fair to assume that didn't come with any of the switch gear as pictured mounted on the bike on their website?

Correct, it didn't come with switches/buttons or a USB adapter. The phone holder, USB port, and buttons added about another $20.

This complements your bike nice-ly ! NICECNC makes the lowering link I installed on my KTM. Well made, perfect fit.

Your graphics are cool. Nice work.

Here is a shot from the side. You can see that the angle is very adjustable. If there is not enough with the thumb screw, you can tilt it more on the handlebars. There was enough cable on the existing instrument cluster to move it up without binding. Let me know if you want a shot from another angle.

Thanks, they are also from NiceCNC. It was hard to find options that didn't have Suzuki all over them.

A couple of shots right after I installed the graphics kit. The skulls are from Moab Brewery in Southern Utah.

My son has one on the way, maybe one week. Blank slate!

How did you mount the speedometer to the plate? Did you weld another plate to the bottom?

I needed more room than the stock plate allowed so I added a piece of steel angel. I cut out a section for the speedometer cable and pop-riveted the angle to the bottom of the plate. Not pretty but hit it with black paint and it's all hidden. Here are some pictures before starting with the driving lights.

I do miss the super readable digital speedometer and analog tachometer of the TT250. I can't see the Templar's screen at all on a sunny day.

This is why I decided to go with this option plus I wanted some type of GPS or trails app. I now rely on the phone and GPS app more than the speedometer. I still need it for tracking trip/miles per fill-up.
