Hello, I have a Coolster Mountopz 3125XR8, and I'm currently in the process of cleaning the Carb, but I've gotten stuck at trying to take the bowl off. There are no bolts, but instead the fasteners are like none I've ever seen before. See pictures below:

How do I get these off?

Any advice and answers are appreciated.

Thank You,
Taylor

Flip the carb upside down and work from that side .The screws are purposely made like that so you are unable to remove them and alter your carb ,it’s an emissions thing .
Anyways ,they can be removed by cutting a slot in them and using a screwdriver to remove them .

Use a Dremel tool with a cut-off wheel to slot the screws.

You'll want to replace the bolts with new ones after getting the tamper proof ones out. Your air/fuel mixture probably has a cap on it also. It's far easier just buying a new carb on Amazon. They're not very expensive (under $20), and you'll have complete access to all the adjustments on a nice, shiny new carb.

That's what we ended up doing anyways.
Thank You.
