New to posting here, but have got tons of info from you guys that helped me a long way. One thing that has me stumped though I have a 23 TBR7. I removed the aux power that goes to the USB charger and used it to power an android auto device. While riding I noticed if I lug the bike on take off I lose power to that device, not anything else as the factory cluster stays powered on. I pulled out the wire harness behind the headlight a soldered the connections that go to that device as I noticed the connectors are junk and when you wiggle them it cut out. Just a little lost because all connects are solid now and if you shut the bike off with the kill switch and not the key it stays powered on. It's a brand new upgraded battery so I figure it should hold power up even if I do lug/stall the bike. Any incite?

Read you post, I immediately thought 'loose connection', but you seemed to cover that.

Now it's weird that voltage would drop with "lug the bike'.

I would use a voltage meter, tape it in place and try running the bike at different rpms and see if there is something with the charging system.

Good luck.

@CheapThrills. Yes that was my next move just wanted to see if anyone else had come across this or if maybe I'm over working my stator before I try rigging up a muti-meter to my bike to see voltage under load as I'm busy this weekend and may not be able to get back to it for a couple weeks.
