Does anyone know the actual size of the grease zerk on the swingarm of the 200cc Hi-Bird? I've talked to fatboy250 about the posibility of changing the existing one out to a standard size, but I think I'd just as soon buy an adapter for my grease gun that would fit it. I think the price I'd pay for an adapter would be well worth it, considering the amount of effort it would take to get to, and change, the existing one.

I can't remember the size on my Hi Bird 250, but it's a common size. I just went to Autozone with my stock grease nipple, and found a zerk nipple with the same thread size. The new zerk nipple fits perfectly. It's really easy.

Yes there definitely is effort required to get to it, but it can be done with a long extension and a ball bearing in the bottom of the socket to hold the fitting out far enough to work with. I put loc-tite on ours because I didn't see us removing them.

Just remove your airbox and you can get right at it.
