Need some help. I have a tt250 that I’m swapping one of those 200cc 250cc 5 speed cg250 Honda clones into. On the original motor it has a green and blue wire with 3 yellow wires. New engine has the blue and green but with a single yellow wire and a black and a red wire. Not sure why that is or what to do about it to figure out where to connect the new ones up to. Any help or previous experience with this bike or others with this engine is appreciated

I think the stator on the TT was a bigger output one than the standard engines normally came with ,you might want to try to swap the old stator into the new engine but it should work with just the wires you have as well .

Is there anything else I’d need to replace to put the CSC stator in the new motor? I have them both pulled off and it seems like I could just swap the whole cover with the stator connected since they’re identical as long as nothing in this motor will be fried or can’t handle that stator? Sorry I’m new to this

I would say the stator and possibly the flywheel if it’s different ,you have them side by side in front of you so should be easy to figure out .
