I was looking on Aliexpress at VM26 clone carburators...
for a few $ more I found MO-E flange type Carburetors. looks like a VM26/Nibbi crossover...

Anyone had any experience with these?
Seems to use keihin jets, I'm pretty close to taking the bait and hooking up to a MO-E28A

Seems to be a few vendors...fairly consistent positive buyer feedback over different vendors...
My only concern is the (high speed fuel injector) screw that sit on top of the intake sitting proud and possibly hitting my XL frame.

OK so for simplicity sake I will just compare the MO carb to the Nibbi.
PZ30/B and VM26 have already been covered fairly extensively on the forums.
Out of the box the MO comes with extra jets and an alternative needle profile.
Stock jetting was 40P and 128M, I installed the included 130M.
Build quality is ok with some cast flashing but internals look fine.
Parts can interchange though the Nibbi has a better quality float i'd say. Slides are the same however the nibbi slide was tight in the MO.
MO-E28 measures 30.8mm the Nibbi measures 28.9mm.
The MO has an oring mating flange the Nibbi does not.
I would honestly say the MO is better value as you are basically getting the Nibbi but you get an alternative needle option, the High RPM Intake Jet and the Oring flange...
Comparing needles I think MO might have got it right. I believe Nibbi chose the wrong needle making my high RPM issues manifest.
I've installed the Mo now with some Nibbi cross over parts cap/idleknob.
A/F 1.75 turn and Hi A/F 0.5. Everything else stock out of the box
Bike fired up no issue and idle was achieved easily within the bikes behavioral characteristic chuff every while.
