center Kick Stand

Has anyone Tried to mount a Center Kick Stand on one of the Enduro's. I was thinking it would be handy on the trail if I had a Flat or need to do something to the bike. I was thinking about a Stand similar to a DR or KLR.

Maybe Find an old one EBAY and weld it up.....DO you think it would work...or would it be a headache....

I know the Lifan Street bikes Have them...I just wonder if they are too short?

I think it would work with a little ingenuity, but also think it would be a
headache.

Don't know if anyone has done this or not. I have thought about it in the
past. I also seen a bike with a kickstand on both sides of the bike. Which
I thought about trying as well. After time I decided it would be more hassle
than it's worth to me. I figure if worse come to worse I would just lay
the bike on it's side and take care of business. My main concern there
is the crumy gas cap as I believe it would allow gas to leak if I did lay
it over. Not much help I know... sorry.

my cb has a center stand, klunky and heavy but works great, I doubt it'd fit, but they would be dirt cheap.

My cb also leaks gas when layed on it's side. Not so great. :cry:

I'measy is right about laying a bike over, if done gently, the only thing that gets dirty is the very end of the handle bar grip. Wide handlebar, small engine. On a cafe racer because the bars are so short, laying down your bike is a very bad thing.

I have also thought about buying a folding stand to strap on when I go on the trail rides....Just an Idea.

I am not too concerned if I have a flat on the street, because for only $10 a year....I had towing included on my insurance....

yep I figured it was worth $10 for the road side assistance. They will tow you up to 15 miles free. I am usally within 15 miles from the house. It also includes free delivery of Fuel...I just pay for the cost of Fuel.

$60 + shipping is a lot of money for the added strapped on weight for
something you may not even use IMHO. I have seen many post where
people have used trees, logs, rocks, other bikes to lean theirs against
to change or fix a flat. Seems a better idea to me, but then again I am
cheap! :lol:

I don't know, I would spend the 60 after trail riding with a 9 year old and watching him fall. I often have to get the bike off of him. Most of the time I'm trying to find a place to put my stand down so it won't fall. The last time he got the breath knocked out of him. His first time. He squeeled like a stuck pig. Shook him up a little but got right back on the bike and kept going. I remember the first time I got it knocked out of me. It was on a swing set. :oops: Okay this is embarrassing, I'm leaving.
