Has anyone changed the cam follower pin Oring without removing the cylinder? Looks like it can be done by pulling the pin out just far enough to expose the Oring so the washer behind the cam followers doesn't fall into the crankcase. The CG engine on my quad seeps a little oil from there, just enough to attract dirt.

I would personally not be worrying about it, if it's just enough to draw dust, but I would try using brake cleaner on it, and then some silicone sealant. I know that technically the pin could pull out a little and not drop a wave washer, but even if you did expose the o ring, you would still have an almost impossible job of changing it, without pulling the pin out further. Even if you pulled the pin out 3/16" you still don't have enough sticking out to hold onto while working on replacing the o ring. Like I say I would not do it, BUT if you do decide to try, then I would recommend using a thin Phillips head screwdriver, or bolt that's smaller diameter than the one that threads into the pin. I would remove the bolt that threads into the pin, and stick the smaller one in it's place with hopes that it would prevent the pin from popping out too far
