Had no trouble getting a tag in Alabama. Go through PowersportsMax rather than Amazon & tell them you need a "motorcycle" MSO. I think that you would be fine in MO getting it tagged. Only an issue in the commie states ;)

I emailed them last night and they said they can change it but I'll call them today and order tta paladin and an x15 for my boy and see what they have to say lol

On the PowersportsMax site, when you order you can specify 'motorcycle' on the MSO. It should go just fine. The large thread is a tremendous help concerning the little things we have found. I would guarantee your rear wheel bearings will be bound from overtightening the axle, that you will have to 'finesse' the rear fender & rear mount, and a few other things. WELL WORTH IT! I will post more on the simple headlight fix tonight.
This bike is the buy of the year (not even considering the 'early adopters'; that only paid $2600!). As long as you don't have short legs, you will love this thing!

I live in Ohio. I have had 2 different bikes from PSM including the Paladin. Both had “off road motorcycle” on the cert of origin. I had to simply fill out an affidavit that the bike had the required street legal items. The clerk did a change of body code to motorcycle and handed me the title.

NICE JOB! You apparently have far different sorts working at DMV than we have in Alabama. Extra work? What? Change something? HA!

15 or so years ago it was a different story. Ohio BMV workers and Title office workers across the state were known to be the sourest, most rude and unhelpful individuals known to exist. The state went on a campaign to change that and they succeed. Very pleasant and helpful experience at most all locations now.

Glad they are so accommodating! Actually my experience wasn't bad, just that the woman didn't seem interested in making ANY effort. An older guy clarified something & things got moving along in my case.

I don't own a Paladin but even with the Templar X the process is the same. Worst case scenario you ask for a different MSO and in pretty much every example listed on the site they get it out to you very quickly. Enjoy your new ride.
