I've got a resin printer and have just made joint purchase of a filament printer.
Opted to go halves on a decent printer than be disappointed with a cheapo
Elegoo Centauri Carbon is currently shaking up the market and given the state of the Australian $ and global tariffs, Seemed like a 3d printer would be a solid investment now. So that's the printer we got.
Arriving today if the tracking info is correct.
I've printed a Gopro camera mount for my Bell MX-9 helmet using resin but filament has its benefits too...
But I'm sort of curious if any other Riders here have a printer and do printer projects and would like to share files...or just the creations they've made.
So I searched but there appears to be no Other thread regarding 3D printers and motorcycle related creations...
Would like to keep it motorcycle/tool/travel related content, But other than would be great to see and or get inspired by other creators here.
I'll be printing out a helmet wall hook once we figure out operations.

I'm not going to review the Elegoo Centuari carbon as the unit is not in my possession. There were some teething issues.
But for the most part and initial impression the printer is good value.
The helmet hook printed fine in ABS and works as intended.
Also my friend/joint owner printed out some caulk/slazz tube end caps which I thought were pretty neat.
I will share a link to Thangs which is a site that basically compiles all the 3d printable shared community creations over other known sites...

Along with a CF Moto Mt/Ibex 450 tft sunshade as an example of what you can find with a search

Congrats on the Centauri Carbon—solid choice! I ride and 3D print too—helmet hooks, GoPro mounts, cable organizers, and even tool holders. Great to see someone blending bikes and printing. Would love to exchange STL files or ideas! Let’s keep this thread rolling with moto-focused projects and builds.

Credit to Outie555 on youtube. I'm hoping he puts the front brake reservoir protector and seat replacement rubber pad files for download as well.

I'm probably going to have to design something to mount the Aoocci C5Pro unit to the MT450 as I would like it positioned above the tft dash but not fitted to the windscreen height adjustment bar. and all the Aoocci comes with a ball and ram mounts, none of which suit my application.

I have a creality 3d pprinter, there are soo many things you can make.
Keep in mind a 3d printer puts out stronger but uglier prints than resin. Resin is preferred for making figurines, ornaments, models or anything needing super high levels of detail, while 3d printing is more used for prototypes, or small scale production of plastic parts that have function.
There is a learning curve on handling temps, enclosed vs open, and each filament. For example pla is good for simple stuff not too structural, nylon is the go to for anything structural since nylon has very good strength and handles oil and heat fairly well. For even stronger glass bedded nylon is even tougher and often used for firearm parts like stocks and forearms due to taking the recoil for decades without any fractures.
It is fun to have a 3d printer but a 3d printer community is best to contact as there are so many variables where sometimes it is harder to get a good print than it is to design it. I still have not figured out all the ins and outs of my printer but I only use mine rarely.
