Hi everyone,

I removed my clutch switch wire harness and mis-placed it. Now of course the bike won't start in gear since there is no connection to show that the clutch is pulled in or not. I looked at the schematic that came in the owner's manual but it is so blurry, it is impossible to tell which wires the switch tied into. I found three wires in the main harness that do not have anything attached (one green, one green with a black stripe and one brown with a white stripe). Does anyone know which wires the clutch switch ties into? I still have the switch so I could just solder some wires to the terminals and tie into the main harness wires to get the start in gear function working again. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, no replies so I assume that nobody has done this on the xf250. I found that there were three wires that were not used (two of which I disconnected when I removed the switch), so I just made a jumper and found that the circuit for the switch was a green wire and a green wire with a red stripe. With the jumper wire in place, I have the start in gear function without the cheesy switch at the clutch lever.
