Sooooooo,
The stickers on my Lifan - Specifically the huge 5 in front isn't really a sticker in the sense that it has edges and can be picked off. Is there an easy way to remove it before I get medevil? I dang near looks painted on there. the 'Lifan' sitckers on the side are the sticky kind of sticker, but the 5 and the transformer sticker on the front fender have me vexed. I wouldn't mind the 5, but I think it makes johnney think it is racing or fast or in some other fashion needing a closer inspection.

A few notes: I changed my oil @ 100KM. The filter had metal in it as expected, but not as much as I was expecting. I'm still really impressed with this bike. Aside from purchasing new axle bolts (sooner than later) and a wally trunk I think I'm golden. I was thinking about a few different mods - but all in all the way it came is working out really well. I don't feel like need more oomph. It would be nice to have a more instant throttle response in the dirt, but I think that is the latent teenager in me. I adjusted my headlight, that sucker is pretty bright - I figured I'd need to replace it, but I do not think that will be the case.

Wifey is going to take some action shots in the sand tomorrow so I'll have some more photos. The gallery is http://photobucket.com/daddy469-lifan and I'll be adding more photos as I get them. Some photos will be pretty horrible tho, I use my blackberry most of the time because it is handy.

I bid you all a good evening

They are stickers, but they're clear coated over, so if you do remove them you will end up seeing where they were... You should be able to start the edge of a sticker with a knife or something and peel carefully...

I opted out of that method and bought a red headlight fairing from a gy2 that didn't have stickers.

Hmm, thanks for the info. Anyone know where I can get a blank blue one? 8)

I think the blue ones on gy2's are a different color, but there may be some around, my dad has a blue one that came with no number... No idea where you could order one though..

A lot of people peel them off, and repaint the plastic.
