At work today went out and rear tire was flat! :( Rolled it into apparatus bay and put air in it and out came the soap water. Bubbled around valve stem tried to tighten up and no luck, still a slow leak. :x Called the local cycle shop and they are holding a new tube for me i will pick up tomorrow after i limp home and get the gas guzzler out till i get tire fixed. I guess since it has 550 miles on it i will go ahead and adjust valves while i got the wrenches out. Still cant complain two tanks of gas and got 82mpg and 83mpg on second tank :D More people want to know what it is and where to get one. I just keep smiling while they say man that looks good i think ill buy one.

Sometimes the valve grommets wear out and need replaced. They sell replacement valves at Walmart for under $5.00 bucks with tool included. The other thing to look out for is the valve body cutting itself on the rim. If the valve body is slanted then it's rubbing up against the rim. Quick accelerating and braking will cause the tire to rotate against the rim while the tube stays put. Things to look out for.

When I switched tires at 130 miles, I found the rear rim spoke nut protector was twisted a full half x half way around and numerous spoke nuts were completely exposed to the tube! You would think with all those Chinamen standing in line to get a job puttin bikes together, they would use just a LITTLE more care... As a credit to their tubes, it still holds air fine.........for now any way!
