i was thinking of buying a lifan gy200-5. anyone here know what is needed to register the bike (for street use) in illinois? also, know of any dealers in northern illinois? or any (American) lifan dealers online that can ship it to me? thanks

coolguy, the GY-5 is a 49-state DOT approved bike, so you shouldn't have too many issues as long as the MCO (sometimes called the MSO) is signed and written on correctly by the dealer, and the bill of sale is done correctly. Can't help you with Ill. specifics, but at least the bike is legal there.
