Other than regular maintenance items, i.e. tires, brakes, etc. What are some of the common issues or problems/breakages while owning a chinese made motorcycle? Suspension? Electrical? Engine? or All? I looking for commonalities with these bikes.

Thanks! :D

Fasteners often will come loose. locktite will remedy that.

Electrical system is usually less than robust. might have to track down a bad connection. Factory bulbs sometime burn out rather quickly.

All in all mostly just minor items. If you are mechanically inclined and like working and tinkering on your bike, Youll be fine.

I did a change on the fuel line early on -- went to a heavy-duty, thick-walled braided rubberized gas line and a NAPA in-line filter (metal) and there are no leaks, and that particular thing should be taken care of for the long haul.

The factory batteries aren't the best. They get the job done and most have a kick-start...but it's not a bad idea to get a better battery.

Or at least a battery tender.
My girl has been sitting for a bit w/o a tender and the battery is toast. :(
