I was disappointed to learn that our new Beast didn't have a fuel shut-off valve, so I installed an inline one. I don't think you should ever store or transport a bike or quad without shutting off the fuel.
It took some creativity because of the direction the tank barb takes, but it works.

I can't believe they'd sell 'em without a fuel shut-off! I remember a number of years ago, some company got sued, because they had no shut-off, and when the floats would start sticking open a bit in the carb, the gas would end up on people's garage floors and started quite a few fires.
Definitely a MUST if your equipment doesn't have one, to install one. Good going! And it was nice of you to remind people of this.
My Vbike at least came with a shut-off...but no filter!! (I installed one)
It's funny, that of all the things they'd skimp on, it would be something that is both so important for safety, and so cheap for them to add!
