Is there such a thing? And if there is; does anyone have a link to the stats on this bike? Have a guy on craigslist in OKC selling a truck load of them. He says it says - 125 on the box, and that they are a 125 cc bike, but the only info I can find on the bikes are for 110's. Here's a link to the CL add. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/mcy/1134377784.html

Decent bikes? upgradable? Wast of time and money?

I want a decent 125 China platform to slowly mod and make stronger and better. If this platform is totally crap what is the best 125 China platform to start from?

For $375 not a bad deal. I don't think it is top of the line, but probably would be a good one to start with and mod as you go.

Cool thanks. Judging by the fact that you have 4000+ posts I bet you know a bit about Chinese bikes, if you could get any 125cc bike for under $500 what would it be?

BTW the link he put in his add takes you to the stats for a DB-25. That's not accurate, he has DB-28's. Before I drive upto OKC from Dallas, can anyone tell from his pictures that he infact has 125's not 110's?

The link he puts in the ad is very little use. It appears to describe an ATV judging by data like top speed 35 mph, power output 6.7 hp, thumb throttle, speed governor, net weight 165 lbs...

Would be useful to know who makes the engine. Not all Honda Cub clones are the same. The price is difficult to resist though.

I've found this link on the actual Roketa website http://www.roketa.com/product/7/0/2062.shtml

But of course it is listed as 110 only.

I would ask him to send some pictures of the box that you can read and also take a picture of the right side of the cylinder I believe. On the cylinder is posted a displacement. It should say 107cc for a 110 or 124cc for a 125c bike.

If he can't prove its a 125cc I would pass on the bike.

One more thing. My number of post just means I blab alot.

Well not surprisingly he didn't respond when I asked him to email me more pictures. My buddy is tryinng to talk me into buying and mod'ing a klx 110. But... It seems like I'm gonna spend $1500.00 going that route. (May be a better bike in the end though).

Ahh, bummer, yeah VA is a little far.
Went to killer Motosports today wich is located right down the street from me. Their stuff is a little more than what I wanna spend, but it's bad a** stuff. Like this Wolf moto x. They told me I could get it for $1100. http://www.killermotorsports.com/Wolf_Moto_X_X_140cc_p/wmxx140.htm

It had pretty nice quality components on it.
