Hey, I'm wanting to order a Lifan LF200 III from Drmoto.com but i have heard about some websites that sell lifan bikes have horrible service and/or are scams. Can anybody give me some information on this website or let me know where the best place to order a lifan online is?

I have never heard of that site before. It looks nice. Prices seem inline and not outragous.

I have never heard of them, either, but they are out of California, and the Atty. general takes scams pretty seriously there, so are probably legit. The only downside I can see is that alot of their product is branded as 'Galata' which might prove difficult for street registration, but this would depend more on which state you are trying to register the bike in. For instance, looking at their Galata GY-5 dual-sport, which is obviously a rebranded Lifan GY-5, some states might take the Galata name too seriously, and not recognize the Lifan origins, and someone could theoretically be stuck with an unregisterable bike. Just something to keep in mind... In Arizona, I wouldn't have much problem getting any of the streetable bikes registered here, but there are states that are very difficult to register and are quite picky when it comes to the labled brand. Looking at drmoto's fine print in the description of the bike you are interested in, the Galata LF-III, it mentions this, too:
Street Legal
Galata LF200-III is DOT and EPA approved. We provide properly filled and signed MCO (Manufacturer certificate of origin).
If your state requires your MSO to be notarized, there is a $30 fee for each certificate to be notarized. This process may take up to three weeks. Not all vehicles are street legal or register able in all 50 states. Each state is different and may have different registration requirements.
