I just think my bike looks cool with knobby tires now.

It's all clean in this shot because I just washed it after trying out the tires on some muddy dirt roads.

Hi Rich,
I just looked the bike and it looks awesome. I am a big fan of a dirt game but I don't have enough courage to drive like I see on Television. I specially like when the bike comes in air and the drivers do some moves. I saw your bike and the tyres and I thought of the first stunt I done and have a broken bone in my left leg after then never tried. But you seems cool and the bike you maintained is good and with the new tyres it looks like ready to do some dirt.

The tires look great, Rich! Please tell us which tires you mounted. :) Is that a Kenda K760 mounted in the rear?

Spud:

Yes they are Kenda 760s

Front - 80/100x21 Kenda K760 Trakmaster II and
Rear - 110/100x18 (4.25/4.60x18) Kenda K760 Trakmaster II

The rear is bit too big. A 100/100 would probably be fine. The 110 scrubs the exhaust when the suspension is fully compressed, some of the side knobs scrub the chain, and the chain guard will not clear. I also broke the inner fender when I hit a large hole in the road and bottomed out. I will switch to the 100/100 when/if I ever wear this one out.

Thank you for the reply, Rich. :) Please tell, how do you like the K760 front tire? Does the front tire work well on the street; does it feel stable in turns? I keep reading mixed reviews about the K760 front tire. However, as usual, most of the people badmouthing the K760 front tire have never used one! ;)

If Rich can give me a good report on the K760 front tire, I will have to give one a try. ;) I have ridden about 9,000 miles on two, size 100/100x18, K760 rear tires, and they are great tires! I can buy the K760 tire, size 80/100x21, for $38.69, delivered. :)

I am currently using a Cheng Shin C858, size 2.75-21, front tire. I bought the C858 tire for about $23, delivered. :)
