Hey Matthew04833

Call American Lifan on Monday and ask for Shawn...{972-698-7778}. He can tell you where all of The American Dealers are in any area. Remember American Lifan is more than just the Lifan bikes sold on the internet. There is a difference! I'm a Dealer for American Lifan in Ohio.

Welcome Mblas3,
This is a good bike, and worth every penny... However Motorcycles Pro is selling it for $600 more than I paid for mine and I didn't look to see how much shipping was??? You will enjoy that bike though and dont forget to Loc-tite everything...

Hello ambassador,

I paid $1600 including tax title and tags. I know it was a little more than ordering off the net but I live down the street from there shop. so it was allot more convenient.

Thanks!

Cool, I hate seeing people get ripped off on these bikes, alot of public don't know what these bikes are really worth...
Have fun with it and if you have any questions, feel free to ask...

There are 2 types of Lifan bikes: American Lifan and imported Lifan. Both look the same, but many times the internals are different.

Your going to find a cheaper price on the internet versions, which are usually, illegal Lifan versions. Legally, only American Lifan's dealers have the rights to sell Lifan.

The American Lifan version costs more than the internet versions - It is important to note that the internet versions are many times not made to the same specs as American Lifan's motorcycles. If you are good at fixing motorcycles, then the internet Lifan may be better for you, otherwise, I recommend you buy from a mainstream American Lifan dealer. It will cost you more, but it will save you some headaches.

Also, when buying a Chinese bike, dealer support and parts availability is critical. Beware - There are so many cheap junk Chinese bikes out there and I mean the junk bikes are everywhere. Many people on the internet and ebay try to sell the junk they purchased on the internet. Be sure to do your homework first.

Whoa, you bought a ready-to-ride, TT&L American Lifan LF200GY-5 at a brick&mortar dealer for $1200? Where?

Anyway, there's also Awesome Offroaders (http://www.awesomeoffroaders.com/catalog/) on the east side of the metroplex.

Wow, you mean the American Lifan bikes aren't imported? American Lifan and Imported Lifan? If they look the same how do you tell the Imported Lifans from the non-Imported Lifans?

Now that's funny right there! Yeah, make sure you get one of them there American Lifans, so the dealer can take care of any problems you have! You may want to look at the QLink too! I hear it has a two year warranty from the factory. Or don't they advertize that anymore?!

Zapkin, paging Zapkin! Pumpkin! Now paging Pumpkin!

Too funny! What a great first post. Be sure to do your homework and you won't get ripped off!

They have a good selection of bikes, Little on the high end of the prices but if they assemble that would make a more little sense. And they claim they can get parts for Qlink....

SAMm Maybe You have lucked out.

i've said it before and i'll say it again. i'm not trying to disrespect any good dealers ie bruce but in hind sight with the lack of dealer support i got from where i bought my brand new $1895.00 A. Lifan i wish i'd saved some money and bought a grey market or whatever market Lifan off the net. the only saving grace A.Lifan has with me is Bruce pm'd me and really helped me out. by the way even after the warrenty went out i still buy parts from him. i will never darken the door of my "local" dealer again.
