mc 54 250 b hard starting

I have an 08 roketa mc 54 250 b scooter and it has always been a hard starter. I has less than 500 miles. I adjusted the valves with go no go and it is a bit better but it takes several turns b4 it starts. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Alot of our motors will benefit from lowering the c-clip on the carb, raising the needle to richen the mixture a bit.

Have you ever changed the plug? A genuine NGK is miles better than the stock plug.
